HIKING TO ANDECHS

One evening, Sara, Mia (Sara's little sister), Charlie (The dog) and me decided to go hiking and visit Andechs, a small village close to Herrsching. We dressed up well since it was quite cold, grabbed some snacks and began our journey..

✩Journey and complications✩

To get there we had to go through the forest, we walked for about an hour and we did have some complications.. First of all, with Charlie walking with us, we had to be carefull to not step into too dangerous plants or rocks that may possibly harm him. Then we got slightly lost but eventually found the way back, but another problem came up.. There was supossed to be a bridge to cross a small river, but for some reason it was nowhere to be found so we had to find our way, stepping on the big rocks to cross the river.. it was definitely interesting!.

✩The village✩

The most noticeable thing about the village was the church, the rest couldn't come inside since they had to take care of Charlie so I went alone and I was very impressed by how beautifull the inside was!. The ceiling was filled with drawings and golden pieces and the altar stood out for the amount of details and glorious paintings and statues.

It felt like a reminder to not judge a book by it's cover since the outside of the church wasn't that attractive to the eye in my opinion, but after seeing the inside, this is another place I recommend seeing for yourself!

✩Back home✩

After visiting the church, we had some snacks and relaxed in a park before going back home. We were a bit exausted after almost 3 hours of walking but we put on some music on the way back and before we knew it we were back home.
