ICE SKATING AND HOBBIES

In Germany, due to the weather conditions, culture and other factors, people usually do different activities than in Spain, specially during the coldest months of the year.

Where I am staying, I've noticed a big enthusiasm for handball, I know a lot of people from school who play it and I remember everyone watching games the first weeks I came here.

Due to the cold weather, most people my age just choose to hang out at their friend's houses or do activies indoors like reading, watching shows, films, cooking... Some others also enjoy skiing!

✩Ice Skating✩

One day, me and my friend Alba decided to go ice skating!, unfortunately, it wasn't cold enough to do it in a frozen lake but we went to an ice skating ring nearby. I noticed that a lot of the people there were really skillfull when skating. Of course there were beginners as well but many knew how to do a couple of tricks.

Maybe it was just my impression, but I think that ice skating is more popular here in Germany than in Spain.. 

Either way, we had a lot of fun!
