Therme Erding

THERME ERDING AQUAPARK

Alba, me and two other girls who organize Erasmus activities arranged going to the Theme Erding, a covered aquapark and spa known for being the biggest complex of thermal baths in Europe. It is also well known for having the largest water slide in the world!

We went there for 4 hours and luckily the Erasmus scholarship payed for the activity.

✩Trip

Since it was quite far away I picked the train at about 8:40 and met them at the train stop in Gilching. Getting there took about an hour and a half since first we had to travel with the train and then take a bus to get to the park.

When we got there we bought the tickets for 4 hours each, left our things in the lockers, changed and went to the zone of the slides.

✩Water slides

There was a large variety of slides to choose from. In some you used a floatie, in others no, in others you could go with other people at the same time..
We spent a good time going down the water slides and it was very fun, personally I loved one which was almost vertical, you went so fast and it was very entertaining.

Then, we went to the exterior thermal baths, were the inside of a pool was very warm but you were outside so the temperature out of the water was very cold... there was also a pool with waves and a bar. We had a snack, rested a bit and when the 4 hours were almost over, we exited the park.
