Flea Market
FLEA MARKET
As I had little time before coming back to Spain, we decided to visit the Flea market which is a place where many people gather and place street shops. People usually visit these places because the things at sale are usually cheaper than if you find them at an actual shop. There are many known flea markets in Germany but we went to the one in Munich, Olympia Park.
✩What to find?✩
In flea markets in Germany you can find all types of objects, furniture, clothes, jewellery.. for pretty cheap prices. Also, since the prices aren't "official" if you are lucky you can negotiate with the seller to obtein even a better price. In the flea market where we went there were many stands with vintage objects, paintings, electronic devices, and many with lots and lots of clothes.
A lot of people come to these places to find vintage things they wouldn't find otherwise in regular shops. Plus, it's good for the environment since most of these things are second-hand, so rather than throw them away, you can sell them to a person who will give them a second life!
✩Day in the flea market✩
Me and my friend Sara went to the flea market in the early morning to find the best offers. Although we got confused and accidentally went to the wrong flea market at first, we managed to get to Olympia park, and after a god while, we asked someone where it was and we finally made it.
It consisted of rows and rows of street stands and small shops, we spent about two hours looking around and at the end Sara bought a skirt and a purse and I bought multiple pieces of jewellery I liked!
After so much walking we were exausted, we were lucky to have a nice day, 27º in Germany!. We took the train and had lunch at a shopping center before getting back home.
