VACATION DAYS #1

I went on a trip with my host family, first to Croacia and later to Italy since they had family there and wanted to celebrate the easter holidays, sadly, Sara couldn't come but I went with the rest of the family.

✩Trip✩

We woke up at about 4am on Monday to leave the house at 5 since it was quite a long trip.. We went by car and saw many beautfill landscapes as we travelled from the south of Germany through Austria and Slovenia. It was about a 6 hour trip with a couple of stops here and there.. I slept for some time and finally at about 11 we arrived at Croatia.

After arriving we had lunch at a small family-owned restaurant, then we went to the apartment where we were staying. We stayed at a town called Cervar Porat, when we arrived it was rainy and quite cold so the first day we only stayed at the apartment, setting up things, organizing and resting. Then we went to have dinner with some of their family. After having a nice meal I played cards and board games with the youngest members of the family and then went outside to play with Mia, Sara's little sister and with Abby, the husky of the family.

✩Walking around Cervar Porat✩

Cervar Porat is a lovely town, the next morning, we were lucky to have a sunny and warm day so we went out and I walked around with Mia.

 There was a small port, a park and a lot of vegetation. The town is specially crowded in summer, with many shops and business opening at that time, but when I was there it was quiet and peacefull.
